Bulletins and information

    Display menu of available bulletins. Used to see current system bulletins, help file, general information, or membership information.

Page SYSOP for a chat

    Ring bell for SYSOP at local console. "Chat disabled" message indicates SYSOP shut off chat function for the moment.

End this session (goodbye)

    Log-out from system and terminate this phone call. Updates high message pointer and user statistics.

File transfer menu

    Upload and download files of general interest.

Scan just the message headers

    Read only To, From, Date, and Subject. Optional read of entire message.

Leave a message to someone

    Enter message into system. May bne directed to a specific user (open or private), ALL, or the SYSOP.

Turn menu display on/off (Expert)

    Toggle automatic display of command menus on/off.

View or edit your user options

    Edit your permanent user record.

Read messages left by others

    Read messages stored in system.

Display the sections you can access

    Show list of sections and whether you may read, write, upload, or download. (Shown as RWUD in the list.)

Time used during this call

    Show log-in time and date, current time, elapsed time, and remaining time (if it is less than an hour).

Display list of recent callers

    Show the name, location, time in and out, and baud rate of the recent callers.

Mask out unwanted sections

    Specify a list of sections that you wish to have active, out of the total list that you have access to.

Display your caller statistics

    Show the number of calls, messages, and current privilege level.
