s will be the final news update for Illusion BBS. Illusion is no longer being developed or supported. The final release of Illusion from us will be 2.03 from January 1998.

Illusion is NOT Y2K-compliant. If you attempt to run Illusion with a system clock past December 31, 1999, you will receive start-up errors. If you are really adament about running it, set your system clock to pre-2000.

Finally, I am providing the full Turbo Pascal source code for the few that want to fix Illusion's Y2K bugs. Hey, if anyone does get a working version of Illusion, let me know and I'll be happy to post it for you.

Disclaimer: Before you download the source, please know that the source provided DOES NOT COMPILE. I couldn't locate various files and/or I left some stuff out. You will need to make many modifications before you will be compilation error-free. I am providing the source code as-is, without any guarantees or warranties. All I know is that it'll take up disk space.

Do not email me with any questions or comments about the source code. I have not coded in Pascal in over five years and don't remember anything. I don't have any type of Pascal compiler installed nor do I plan on it. I will not provide you with a Pascal compiler.

One other thing: If you do something with the source code, you may not profit from it. You may not post it on a page with profit-generating banners. You may not sell the source code, any modifications you make, or anything derived from what I provide on this page.
