  Tank War 1.0, along with the shareware field library (FIELDS.MK$), are,

--> 1 <--  Playing the Game

 Playing Tank War shouldn't be too difficult. All you need to do is properly
 unZIP the archive (if you're reading this then you probably have done that!)
  and run the file TANKWAR.EXE. The program will let you know if the needed
   files were found, and whether or not it can continue executing. Online
                        instructions are provided.

--> 2 <-- Trouble Shooting

   To play Tank War, you need a VGA and EGA capabilities. A sound card is
    recommended, but not required. Tank War allocates memory dynamically
 (while it's running), and even then it only needs around 125k RAM to run. In
      other words, you should have no problem running it. In the normal
   unregistered version, there are 15 levels available. However, if Tank War
    can't find the level file, the only field you can play is the built in
                               random field.

--> 3 <-- Registration Information

 If you use Tank War a lot, you are strongly encouraged to register it. To do
 so, send $5 to:

Molnar \ Kucalaba Productions
8225 West Calla Road
Canfield, OH

Checks can be made payable to Luke Molnar. To register, print and fill out the
                                ORDER.FRM.

 No refunds. If Tank War somehow melts, destroys, erases (I wouldn't count on
     it), explodes, or in some other way harms your computer WE ARE NOT
        RESPONSIBLE. By using Tank War, you acknowledge that fact.

  If you do register, you will receive the super-secret password to the
  MORE.ZIP file (hey, THAT's what that file is for!), which you use in
 conjunction with PKUNZIP. When you decompress the file and move it to
the Tank War directory, Tank War will automatically know about it and you
 get to play the 15 new levels. You can still play the shareware levels.
Naturally, if you get the password you are strongly discouraged to tell the
 other people, and then all the children of the world would never get to
 enjoy Tank War 2, because it will never be made because the makers would
   sell their computers for food and they would be on welfare and their
   grammatical skills would no longer exist. We dont want that, do we?

 Here's how to decompress the file from the command line:

c:\> pkunzip -s MORE.ZIP

The almighty PKUNZIP will ask you for a password, which you should have =)

Got it?  Good.
