Duncan wrote the original _non_working_ version of CoBBS for the RS Color Computer (called the 'CoCo' by those of us who owned one). Richard never got his software to function for more than a few hours before crashing. I was the sig section leader for telecom on the Compuserve CoCo sig and had to either fix CoBBS or delete the files (policy - no non-functioning downloads). I began fixing CoBBS when Richard almost electrocuted himself at work and was laid up for a year or two. Meanwhile I rewrote 90% of the original code and did all of the online support from Compuserve's CoCo sig that did eventually lead to CoBBS being 'widely used'. TuBBS was a direct ripoff of the CoBBS code with only minor changes. Brian Stretch (and friend) couldn't write a BBS from scratch to save their lives. Charles.Angelich
